Message from Coach Alyson Barrett
I developed New Life Running with the goal of enriching lives by teaching the physical and psychological benefits of running. Along with coaches Michelle La Sala and Stacy Cail, I recognize that each athlete comes to the sport with unique goals and demanding personal schedules. We’re prepared to help both new and experienced runners achieve their goals and promote positive changes in their lives.
Running is one of the easiest sports to begin. Essentially, all you need is a pair of shoes. From that base, you can improve your overall fitness, relieve stress and depression, develop healthy habits and learn goal-achieving techniques. Along the way, you will likely meet lifelong friends and discover the strength of your potential.
We understand that getting started, or getting faster, can seem impossible. The mission of New Life Running is to make this process easier through personalized instruction and motivation. Whether you are intimidated to begin training with a team, lacking motivation following an injury, frustrated that you can’t improve your race time, or you simply don’t know where to begin, we would love to help you get running!
